The Comenius University High-Tech Pavilion project has won the title of Building of the Year 2023!
The High Technology Pavilion of Comenius University in Bratislava was awarded the title of Building of the Year 2023 in the category „Application of science and research in the design and construction of buildings.“ This prestigious award confirms the excellent work and innovative approach of the project from the very beginning.
The key investment of the ACCORD project is the new construction of a high-tech pavilion for the research area of advanced materials with a total built-up area of 1,798.5 square meters. The building of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Comenius University (FMFI UK) in Bratislava is located on the university campus in Mlynská dolina. The new pavilion is technically equipped to allow flexible organization of instruments for experiments, and has the necessary facilities for researchers or PhD students. The building is divided into two parts, which are connected by a two-storey glass transparent hall, dominated by a staircase glass cube. The façade is framed by a ceramic cladding with banded aluminium windows, a combination of red and grey colour shades is proposed. The artistic solution is based on the contrasting colour effect of the large-scale facades with the glazed surfaces of the entrance area and lecture rooms. The conference block contains offices for professors and school management with an additional seminar room.
The general contractor, KAMI PROFIT, s.r.o., believes that this project will contribute to education and cooperation between different sectors at the highest level. A new BYTY RUŽINOV complex will be built in Mlynské luhy
Discover a new home in Ružinov, the most sought-after location in Bratislava. The project BYTY RUŽINOV offers modern and comfortable housing for young families with excellent access to the city centre and beyond.
KAMI PROFIT s.r.o. started construction in winter 2024 and completion is scheduled for Q2 2026. The project is being implemented on Mlynské luhy Street, where a total of 51 residential units will be created in three apartment buildings. This project comes at a time when demand for new apartments in Bratislava is on the rise, with Ružinov having become one of the most desirable housing locations. The layout is based on the simplicity of the whole concept.
The new apartments will emphasize quality and sustainability, while the developer will equip the apartments with modern ecological elements and modern technologies. The complex will offer different sizes of apartments, which will allow to appeal to a wide range of interested parties. The project will feature extensive front gardens on the ground floor. Window openings or loggias on the top floor will be asymmetrical. A distinctive element of the project will be the coloured facade.
Near the new apartment buildings you will find rich amenities including shops, cafes, schools and medical facilities. For families with children, there are several kindergartens and primary schools, as well as secondary schools. There are also parks and recreation areas nearby, providing ideal conditions for sports and relaxation. In addition to the housing itself, the project will also bring improvements to the surrounding infrastructure, including public spaces and convenient parking spaces.
